19-year-old Jose Julian Morales Diaz was recently found dead on the road in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
The teen died after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident on the evening of February 17, 2026. Law enforcement officials from the South Carolina Highway Patrol were seen rushing to the scene, where they discovered his body on the ground.
The driver who rammed into him had fled the scene and has not yet been identified or apprehended, as per authorities.
Morales was a student at Dorman High School, and he's now remembered by his classmates and teachers as a bright, friendly, and loving individual with a keen passion for soccer and dreams of becoming a mechanic.
His sudden death has left the school community and his loved ones heartbroken beyond words can describe.
The cops are actively investigating the tragic incident and asking the public to come forward if they have any information that might prove the suspect's identity.
