A huge pileup involving 30 vehicles on Interstate 25 south of Pueblo, Colorado, left four people dead and 29 more hospitalized.
This is right after the vehicles crashed under extremely poor visibility conditions. The incident happened on the morning of February 17 when strong winds began to kick up dust to see the road or other vehicles.
The accidents arose just after 10 am, and several cars, as well as semitrailer trucks that happened to be involved in the chain-reaction collisions.
Emergency responders, including local cops, fire crews, and medical personnel, swiftly sealed off the highway to manage the scene and care for those who were injured.
Of those taken to nearby hospitals, several suffered serious injuries, and one remained in critical condition, while others were said to have suffered from minor wounds.
Authorities identified the four deceased victims as two adult men and two adult women from nearby communities, though the detailed identities have not yet been shared with the public. Investigators are still looking at all possible contributing factors in this case.
