Under Fire Sheriff Leading Nancy Guthrie Search Hits Back at 'Haters' Accusing Him of Botching Investigation and Declares 'Nobody' Has been Cleared in Case

The Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos, has chosen to break his silence against all the hate and criticism coming towards him regarding the Nancy Guthrie case.

Some online commentators accused law enforcement of botching this case by releasing the crime scene so soon. And also for allowing the media and others near it before federal agents finished the work.

The sheriff ended up rejecting the accusations and insisted that his team thoroughly processed this property for nearly two hours before the FBI arrived. They felt that releasing the scene didn't compromise major evidence.

Nanos mentioned more about how he had thick skin for criticism, but warned against spreading all sorts of unsubstantiated evidence and theories that would unfairly target people linked to the case.

He emphasized more that nobody has been officially identified as a suspect, including two people who were the subject of recent law enforcement activity.
