A 35-year-old woman named Tiffany LeSuer was recently arrested and charged with endangering her child after hospital staff accused her of deliberately injecting fecal matter into her kid's IV line while the child was in the hospital.
The alleged incidents arose at the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. As per the authorities, staff first became aware when they saw LeSeur inserting a foreign substance inside the IV line. Hospital personnel then closely monitored the situation during her subsequent visits.
Surveillance footage showed LeSuer entering the bathroom with a cup and then exiting with what seemed to be human waste inside.
She reportedly drew the substance into a syringe and injected it into the IV line directly, and connected this directly to the child's hand.
The staff at the hospital alerted the cops, and LeSuer was reportedly detained at the hospital.
The child was immediately treated by medical personnel, but the specific details regarding the child's health are yet to be released to the general public.
