Man detained in connection to Nancy Guthrie abduction is released as tips pour in following doorbell footage

A man has been detained by law enforcement for questioning in connection with the possible kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie.

Sources from local media outlets shared more about how several tips were obtained by the FBI and the Sheriff's department about a masked man who was seen on Nest footage, trying to break into her home, on the day she was allegedly taken.

The individual was believed to have been taken into custody at a traffic stop that was located in the south of Tucson. He was later released without any charges.

His mother-in-law has broken the silence, calling the matter an invasion carried out by the FBI. She added how her son was innocent and had not done anything wrong/

Speaking to reporters recently, the man shared more about how he was released after being asked several questions, but he had no clue why he was being treated this way in the first place.

Law enforcement was also seen searching his property, and authorities continued to emphasize that it's not yet known if he had any link to the person seen in the released footage.
