Michelle Obama's Netflix documentary Becoming has recently seen a massive spike in viewership, just days after Melania Trump's documentary Melania hit the big screens.
Over the past weekend, Melania's film premiered in theaters, becoming jumped into Netflix's Top 10, with viewing minutes rising roughly 13,000% compared with the past weekend.
{img}During this time, it was said to be streamed for tens of thousands of millions of minutes, which is a massive rise from its past totals.
The rise seems to be related to the publicity and polarized reaction linking Melania to this documentary that debuted on January 30 and earned nearly $7 million at the US box office in the opening weekend.

However, critics were mostly negative in terms of criticism and harsh in their ratings. Some audience engagement appeared to be driven by controversy and cultural talks instead of classic box office momentum.
