A cook working at Olive Garden has reportedly passed away after dunking his head inside a searing hot deep fryer.
Sources from local media outlets commented more about how his work colleagues frantically tried to prevent this gruesome loss of life attempt, but it was in vain.
{img}The employee is yet to be identified, but it's believed that he stripped his clothing off and thrust his face inside a giant fryer at the popular chain's restaurant in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, last Friday.
Dispatchers who received the 911 call explained how they were given the details about a male victim who went headfirst into the fryers. They didn't have a lot of detail,s but they could hear many people screaming, some kind of burn victim.
{img}Another operator shared how the cook was rushed to a nearby hospital and had to be treated for severe burns, but he later passed away from his injuries. Another female employee is said to have suffered minor burns after she and several other workers tried to prevent the cook from injuring himself further.
