Newly published emails and internal documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein are sparking a massive, controversial narrative about the late financier's international contacts and links to Russian figures.
This includes close ties to Russia's head of state, Vladimir Putin. The record entails several mentions of Putin and Moscow and some messages describing Epstein's attempts to arrange meetings with Russia's leader. This led many to believe that Epstein was a possible Russian spy.
{img}However, there is yet to be any public confirmation that such meetings ever arose. Epstein reportedly claimed he had links to Putin and suggested he could arrange meetings between top Russian leaders as well as powerful figures of the West.
These files also feature references to young women from Russia who happened to be a part of Epstein's social network.

Sources cited in the documents also described Epstein's network as so extensive that it might be considered a form of honeytrap.
