At least 20 earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 or higher have been recorded in the city of San Ramon, California, with the highest magnitude being 4.2.
The earthquakes began just before 6:30 am as per the US Geological Survey.
{img}The 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck right after 7 am, with rumbling felt in Oakland, Richmond, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz.
A pair of earthquakes with a magnitude of 3.7 and 3.3 were said to be the first to kick off the earthquake storm on Monday morning. So far, no damage has been reported immediately.

Several Bay Area residents mentioned how they recorded the terror inside their homes as everything started to shake, while some working at that period of time even shared how their entire building shook. San Ramon, which is about 36 miles outside of San Francisco, has been the site of many earthquakes in recent times.
