Legendary actress and activist Jane Fonda publicly condemned the federal arrest of leading journalist and former CNN employee Don Lemon outside a court in LA.
The star was seen slamming Donald Trump and his entire administration's handling of the case, adding how they had arrested the wrong 'Don'.
She argued more about how Lemon did nothing but his job as a journalist and should not be targeted by the government for any good reason.
She also used her platform to warn that such behavior threatens important protections of the First Amendment, like freedom of the press, and urged that citizens don't stay silent when the rights provided by the constitution were at stake.
The former CNN anchor is now working independently, but was arrested by federal agents due to links of his coverage with a protest inside a church in Minnesota.
Prosecutors argued that his presence and actions crossed the legal limits, charging him under statutes linked to civil rights and interference with religious activities.
