US President Donald Trump was once again seen at the center of public discussion over the Nobel Peace Prize.
However, it did not happen in the manner that he might have hoped. The President made headlines for actively seeking this prize, citing claims that he did a lot for world peace by ending eight wars. He even publicly campaigned for this award and suggested that failing to receive it was humiliating for the US.
{img}Now, in what is being described as another major humiliating blow, the Nation magazine has gone forward to nominate Minneapolis and its citizens for this prestigious honor of 2026, following Trump's immigration crackdown and fatal ICE raids that killed so many US citizens.
{img}In the nomination that is due to be shared with the Nobel Committee on Friday, the magazine shared how the state has not only met but exceeded the Nobel Committee's criteria for advancing democracy and human rights, as well as work designed at creating a more organized and more peaceful world.
