US Olympic gold medalist Sha'Carri Richardson arrested AGAIN

Olympic sprint star Sha'Carri Richardson was recently arrested in Florida after cops claim she was driving at an extremely high speed on a highway near Orlando.

Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Department observed her vehicle traveling at nearly 104 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone and pulling off some very dangerous maneuvers.

This included weaving between lanes and tailgating other drivers. Under the state's enhanced speeding law, driving above the 100 mph speed limit gets the driver charged for a criminal offense that's dubbed excessive speeding.

Richardson was rushed and soon taken into police custody on that specific charge. She was booked into the local jail and later released on a bond of nearly $500.

Body camera footage from the stop showed Richardson trying her best to explain her situation and plead with the officers not to take her to jail, at times offering reasons for her speed and expressing regret. Despite her many appeals, she was arrested.
