Trump Official Struggles with Answers About Killing of ICU Nurse, Says ‘the Victims Are the Border Patrol Agents’

US Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino recently struggled during an interview with CNN when questioned about the recent fatal shooting of 37-year-old ICU nurse Alex Pretti by federal agents in Minneapolis.

Pretti was shot dead during a controversial law enforcement operation amid protests against federal immigration enforcement this past weekend.

Shocking footage of the incident has raised some serious queries about what exactly happened.

In an interview, Bovino continued to defend the actions of the Border Patrol agents involved, stating that Pretti put himself in that situation by entering what he stated was an active law enforcement scene.

He continued to argue about how the true victims were the Border Patrol agents, and not Pretti.

This cited the dangers officers continue to face and claimed that the matter was both chaotic and violent, to say the least. But when asked to comment on the available evidence of Pretti holding a phone and not brandishing any gun when faced by officers, the official failed to provide any satisfactory response. The question remains why he was shot several times when no gun was in his possession at that time.
