The President of France is raising eyebrows after he appeared to address his country's armed forces with a swollen red eye.
He laughed at the jokes linked to his eye being a cause of anything other than a non-serious infection
At the start of his address, Macron did acknowledge a very noticeable, puffy, red eye, jokingly asking viewers to pardon the very unsightly appearance.

He even shared that it could be witnessed as an unintentional reference to the Eye of the Tiger, suggesting that it symbolized determination for those familiar with the old rock song. Macron was soon spotted wearing shades for most of the day, and many couldn't help but speculate that he might have fought with his wife.
