The 65-year-old actor appeared content while strolling around town with his partner by his side as they were swarmed by the paparazzi in Santa Monica, California.

Penn was seen wearing a smart but casual look with a white button-up shirt, a blue blazer, and black pants. Meanwhile, Nicov chose a more chic and sleek all-black number with shades and a shoulder bag.

The sighting comes shortly after the Golden Globe Awards saw Penn being nominated for leading categories, but still choosing to break the rule of no smoking at the venue. Fellow A-Listers were stunned to see him lighting up a cigarette while seated at his table, despite knowing the decorum at such a prestigious event.
