Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado presented Trump her Nobel Peace Prize medal in White House meeting

It appears that Donald Trump might be getting the Nobel Peace Prize after all, even if it's not direct.

Maria Corina Machado, who is Venezuela's opposition leader, chose to make the president happy and beaming with a giant smile after presenting her Nobel Peace Prize to him during a recent White House Visit.

She gave him the medal and acknowledged all of his great efforts as a symbolic gesture of gratitude and respect.

Machado was given this huge honor for her efforts to promote democracy as well as peace in her nation, as political tensions ran high in Venezuela.

Speaking to the press recently on the matter, she mentioned how her gesture was in honor of the president's great commitment to her country's freedom and also for his support in many democratic reforms.

The US president appeared more than delighted and shared his thoughts through a post on Truth Social, where he thanked her and mentioned that this was a true symbol of mutual respect.
