Trump threatens to invoke Insurrection Act & bring in Military if Minnesota won’t stop violent ICE rioters

President Donald Trump has threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act which is rarely used federal law that could give him the power to send US military forces into Minnesota.

Trump shared how the matter was a serious one, and it was about time that the officials in the state brought the killings and unrest under control before it was too late.

Sources shared how the protests were reportedly sparked by federal immigration enforcement operations, including shootings by ICE agents that left one person seriously wounded and another dead.

Trump's message was shared through social media, where he warned that if Minnesota's political leaders didn't stop professional agitators from attacking ICE agents, then he needed to make a strong decision to invoke the Insurrection Act to put an end to the violence himself.

The deployment of thousands of federal officers to Minneapolis has already strained the relations with local and state officials.

Governor Tim Walz and the state's Mayor Jacob Frey have already urged calm and peaceful demonstrations, while legal action was initiated against the federal surge.
