Only Fans star Sophie Rain is breaking her silence and publicly slamming Florida's GOP lawmaker for coming up with a plan for a sin tax comprising of 50% on income earned through the adult platform.
James Fishback framed the proposal as a means of discouraging what he slammed as immoral behavior and said that the money raised would go to public education and school lunch programs by taking half of creators' earnings.

Rain described the idea as one of the most ridiculous and dumb things that she's ever heard of. She rejected the thoughts of moral judgment behind this, pointing out that she chose to join this platform voluntarily and that her faith gives her validation over anything.
She also noted how creators already pay huge sums in the form of federal taxes, and that's when she questioned why this focus was on creators instead of subscribers or bigger coporations she says, pay little to no taxes.

She accused Fishback of using her and her friends for clout, saying that she had never heard of him before this proposal. She then argued that this tax could drive creators out of Florida and called this a concept potentially unconstitutional. Her reply entailed a sarcastic jab on social media, suggesting Fishback's criticism was like a buyer's remorse comment from someone who had subscribed to content from the platform.
