GoFundMe for Renee Nicole Good closed after raising eye-popping $1.5 million for family of woman shot by ICE

A GoFundMe account that was set up for Renee Nicole Good, who was a 37-year-old mother of three who was shot dead by an ICE agent, has now been closed.

The news comes after it managed to raise a whopping $1.5 million in such a short span of time.

The shooting arose after Good had dropped off one of her kids at school with her partner. ICE agents ended up approaching her car while she was inside, and during this encounter, one of the agents fired several shots and killed her at the scene.

Federal officials mentioned how the agent acted in self-defense and added how Good's car struck or threatened the agent first, forcing him to act and shoot her three times in the head.

The incident has sparked serious debate since then, with many critics arguing about how she was attempting to drive away and didn't pose as an immediate threat at that moment in time.

The conflicting accounts led to public outrage after the Trump administration shared that the agent most likely will not be charged and has complete immunity.
