Family of murdered Ohio dentist, wife ‘all expected’ ex-husband Michael McKee’s arrest

The suspect in the murder case of a Columbus couple who were found murdered at their home has now been arrested.

Sources shared how Dr. Spencer Tepe was a local dentist, and his wife, Monique Tepe, lived in the Ohio home with their kids and pet dog. The couple was found fatally shot inside after friends and colleagues grew concerned when Spencer did not show up to work and Monique would not answer any calls.

The pair's two young kids were present during the killing and were physically unharmed in the event.

This discovery comes during a welfare check by the cops. Authorities later identified Monique's ex-husband as the suspect in the double murder. Dr. Michael David McKee was a vascular surgeon based in Illinois and was previously married to Monique for nearly 10 years. He was arrested in the first week of January and charged with two counts of murder.

Investigators tracked his car through surveillance footage to link him to the scene, which led to a multi-state search. Meanwhile, Monique's family says she is not surprised one bit regarding his arrest.
