Tensions between the US and Iran continue to escalate sharply as the death toll in the Islamic nation has surpassed 500 people.
This has proven to be the most deadly array of protests in the country's history, as many are calling upon the US to intervene. Hundreds of civilians were reportedly killed and thousands more arrested in the countrywide demonstrations.

This led to Iran releasing a bold public statement about how it was ready for war and also reminding the US that it was always open to diplomatic engagement under terms of mutual respect.
