President Trump has made it very clear on Wednesday that the US will be overseeing Venezuela for at least a year after the January 3 arrest of the South American nation's president.
Trump mentioned during a lengthy interview how the goal is to rebuild the country in the most profitable manner imaginable. 'We are going to be using oil, and we are going to be taking oil. We are working hard to get the oil prices down, and we're going to be giving money to Venezuela, which they require desperately'- he continued.

But when reporters suggested various periods of time up to a year, he admitted that it would be much longer than that.
{img}The US President also failed to outline when the country's elections will take place to elect a new leader. This is after he endorsed Maduro's vice president. Many hope the country can solve matters on its own and without any interference from the US, but from the way things are going, it does not seem like it.
