America has opted to seize a tanker linked to Russia, which was found on the coast of Europe, and a second vessel in the Caribbean.
The incident is being called out as a dramatic escalation of the enforcement of the Venezuela Oil blockade.

Meanwhile, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth put the world on notice by stating that the blockage of Venezuelan oil is in full swing, and no ship is safe anywhere in the world.
Russia's Transport Ministry replied by stating: 'No state has the right to use force against vessels properly registered in other nations' jurisdictions.
