Footballer, 22, plunges 65ft to his death after veering off steep ski run as tributes paid to ‘remarkable young man’

Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a young footballer who passed away after falling 66 feet from the edge of a black run while he was skiing.

Nikolas Begalke had been in Austria when he fell to his death and landed on a wooden area that was 20 meters below the piste at 2 pm on Saturday.

Paramedics at the Hochzillertal ski resort in Kaltenbach, however, were only able to confirm his death.

The reason behind this fall was said to be unknown, as it was not shared publicly, but the cops are now treating this as a tragic accident and nothing more.

Investigators shared how there were no details linked to possible involvement from third parties.

Nikolas was famous as he played for different clubs and was known for having a bright future ahead of him. But little did anyone know that fate had other plans for him.
