President Trump's goal of kicking Prince Harry out of the US seems more like a dream than a reality.
Sources shared how his goals of deporting the prince have gone up in flames. The controversial president is said to have no power or authority in this regard, despite Harry being accused of lying on his visa documents.
"Trump has no unilateral authority to deport an individual. This includes Prince Harry, who is a lawful permanent resident of the US," the post read from a top immigration lawyer.
Any deportation would require a valid legal basis under American immigration law, he continued.
Removal or deportation is determined by statute and not by presidential preference. Even a sitting president could not personally order the removal of a particular individual.
Deportation proceedings need to be initiated by the Department of Homeland Security and established legal processes, which often involve immigration courts.
