Barry Manilow has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
The 82-year-old superstar shared the shocking and tragic health discovery on Monday with fans, leaving many devastated.
{img}'As many of you know, I recently went through six weeks of bronchititis and am back on state at the Westgate Las Vegas, where my doctor ordered an MRI to ensure all things were okay. That is when the test revealed a cancerous spot on the left lung that needs to be removed'- he continued.
He also shared how that was pure luck that it was found so early on. 'That's the good news. The discovery was made early, and now I will get surgery done on it to have the spot removed'- the star performer shared with fans.
{img}He also reassured fans that, as per doctors, the cancer is not yet believed to have spread. This is why he's undergoing testing to make sure and confirm the diagnosis. He also shared how there will be no chemo or radiation for now. Just a lot of chicken soup and I love Lucy reruns.
