Legendary singer and songwriter Phil Collins has just revealed that he's currently under a 24 hour care due to ongoing and longstanding health concerns as he approaches his 75th
birthday.
The news comes after decades of performing, where the star has faced several serious medical challenges that have seriously impacted his mobility and everyday life. These entail several knee surgeries, complications from decades-old spinal injuries, and also more health setbacks that compounded with time.
{img}Collins shared how he's now dealing with a live-in nurse who ensures round-the-clock monitoring to help him manage his medications and daily health needs properly. Over the past couple of years, he's undergone five knee surgeries, and while he can walk again, he requests daily assistance to help with his mobility.
{img}The star says he needs to use crutches or a cane, and he's also dealt with some serious complications related to his COVID-19 infection. He spent months in the hospital as he dealt with kidney issues, and things got worse due to his alcohol consumption, the star shared.
