President Trump was seen signing a major executive order to create retirement accounts for tens of millions of workers who don't currently have access to a 401k or another type of workplace plan.
He promised to make the same types of retirement accounts enjoyed by federal employees available to all US citizens, and that's what they are focusing on right now.

The president added that it only seemed fair while speaking to the press at the Oval Office during the signing ceremony.
Low-income earners without any kind of individual retirement account through their employer would receive a yearly federal matching contribution of up to $1000 each, as noted by the president.

This type of designation applies to all people making less than $35,500 each year, heads of household making $53,250 each year, or any couple making $71,000 every year jointly. This has been called out as a milestone step.
