Justin Baldoni's lawyers claim he and the other defendents in Blake Lively's lawsuit cannot be held responsible for her businesses going belly up because she is not a marvelous mogul.
The two sides were seen in court on Tuesday to talk about pretrial issues, and damages suddenly came up, specifically.
{img}Lively argued more about how Baldoni and others damaged her public reputation, which caused her brands to take a major beating.
Baldoni's lawyers disagreed, firing back that Blake has a poor track record of running businesses and that her liquor brand, Betty Buzz, failed because people just do not like her.
{img}They even brought up an example of Lively mocking Kate Middleton's Photoshop drama, which is something she later apologized for when it came out that the Princess of Wales had cancer.
Baldoni's team called this bullying of Middleton and said it also damaged Lively's image to a significant extent.
