A 15 foot gold leaf bronzed statue of Donald Trump is now making the rounds on social media.
Sources shared more about how it was installed at Trump National Doral, getting major attention as the PGA Tour's Cadillac Championship starts this week. The giant towering sculpture is positioned in a prominent manner at the driving range and has truly become an unavoidable talking point for players, staff, and visitors at this resort in Miami.
{img}The mega statue reaches 22 feet, including the pedestal, which was installed earlier this month at the resort. It was produced by artist Alan Cottrill and commissioned by a crypto group operating under the name Patriot.
{img}This work shows the president with a raised fist, which is a reference to the July 2024 assassination attempt against Trump in Pennsylvania. The gold leaf finish and monumental scale make this sculpture impossible to miss for any person on the practice grounds.
The timing is coincidental with the PGA Tour's return to Doral's Blue Monster course. This was previously hosted as a tour event from 1962 to 2016.
The venue also held a LIV Golf event in more recent times.
