Hollywood actor George Clooney is coming to Jimmy Kimmel's rescue after Trump and Melania were seen calling for his urgent firing from ABC.
The pair urged the network to take this matter seriously, slamming the late-night host for his bizarre and uncalled-for jokes. Melania was referred to as an expectant widow two days before the shooting at the White House dinner.
The actor defended Kimmel by comparing his comments to those made by the press secretary. He mentioned that it was okay for her to state that some shots would be fired as a joke, but it was not okay for Kimmel to do the same.
Clooney also urged the US President to learn to take a joke, as it was high time. "She was making a joke, fair enough. But her rhetoric was very dangerous, and we've seen it a lot lately,"- he shared regarding Karoline Leavitt. "If you don't agree with something, you just move on," he urged.
