At least 14 people were killed in a horrifying passenger plane crash after flying into bad weather conditions.
The pilot and 13 passengers were confirmed dead after the small airplane plunged to the ground and burst into flames on Monday. It's now believed that the crash site is about 12 miles southwest of South Sudan's capital of Juba.

The Cessna 208 Caravan was operated by CityLink Aviation Ltd and had taken off from Yei at about 9:15 am local time.
Air traffic control reportedly lost complete contact with the plane about 30 minutes into its journey to the capital.
The flight distance should have been nearly 80 miles. Out of the 14 people dead, it's believed 12 were from South Sudan, and two were from Kenya.

The country's civil aviation authority shared more about a team that was sent to the crash site to investigate the cause.
However, early reports from the SSCAA suggested that the plane might have come down due to severe weather conditions, specifically low visibility.
