Three-year-old twins have reportedly died after drowning in a pond near their family residence in Georgia.
Sources from local media outlets shared more about how authorities received a call regarding a drowning involving two young kids at a residence located in the Pine Hills Country Club in Cordele at nearly 11 am local time on April 22.
The victims were soon identified on Facebook by their own father, Dave Smith, as twin brother and sister Jackson and Charlotte Smith.
Upon arrival, first responders were seen administering life-saving measures, and both kids were transported to Crisp Regional Hospital, where they tragically passed away.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation mentioned in a statement to the press that the death investigation is currently taking place as loved ones mourn this heartbreaking tragedy.
