Pope Leo was seen taking another major swipe at Donald Trump, reminding him that some of his actions were against humanity and dignity.
The news comes after the President was seen revising the punishment of death or execution to death by a firing squad. While this was introduced in the past, it's now been reintroduced thanks to Trump.
The Pope called the death penalty an attack on human dignity, right after Trump shared the controversial change.
'The right to life is the very foundation of every other human right'- Pope Leo added in a video message marking the 15th anniversary of the abolition of the death penalty inside his home state of Illinois.
He added that in this regard, we affirm that the dignity of the person is not lost even after very serious crimes are committed.
