President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were seen rushing out of the White House Correspondents' Dinner after a gunman arrived and started to open fire.
The biggest night of the year in DC plunged into chaos and terror as shots were seen ringing out in the lobby of the Washington Hilton at about 8:15 pm.

The president and First Lady were rushed to safety immediately, followed by other members of the cabinet who were hauled over barriers by the Secret Service. The glitzy event was barely underway when a suspect arrived armed with guns and knives and stormed into the lobby of the hotel.
A source explained how the gunman was identified as Cole Tomas Allen, who is a 31-year-old teacher from California. He was arrested in an injured state, as per officials.

Terror arose when Secret Service stormed the hotel ballroom, ordering everyone to take cover.
Thousands of guests were left with no choice but to dive under the tables and chairs as audible gasps rippled through the entire room.
