Kansas City Chiefs defensive backs coach Dave Merritt was recently arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery on Wednesday night.
The 54-year-old famous sports figure was arrested last night and immediately booked into the Johnson County Jail, as confirmed by local media outlets.
As per the report shared, the Johnson County District Attorney's office mentioned more about how they filed a complaint and accused him of unlawful and knowingly reckless behavior, causing bodily harm to his daughter, which is the basic domestic charges filed in Missouri.
A rep for the Kansas City Chiefs mentioned how the team is well aware of Merritt's arrest and has no comment on the matter.
