Jet2 has issued lifetime bans on two passengers in their 50s following their disgraceful conduct on board a flight to the Canary Islands.
The airline reportedly operates on a zero-tolerance policy towards appalling behavior, confirmed the pair who were traveling from East Midlands Airport to Gran Canaria last Thursday when the incident arose.
The pair were therefore prevented from boarding their return flight and were even thrown out of their hotel.
The couple was caught in lewd acts at the start of the four-hour-long flight, with fellow passengers describing the unbelievable scenes. Their inappropriate behavior started during the plane's takeoff, prompting other travelers to alert the cabin crew once the plane was in the air. The situation got so serious that the crew members considered turning the plane around and heading back.
