Shocking reports are speaking about the gunman from Louisiana who ended up killing his eight children, seven of whom were his own.
Sources revealed how the shooter was an army veteran who was drowning in dark thoughts as recently as this month, as per a new report.
{img}Shamar Elkins carried out these shootings early on Sunday morning in Shreveport, Louisiana. In addition to those killings, Elkins also left two women critically wounded. The suspect later passed away following a brief police chase. Mahelia Elkins, who is the suspect's mother, mentioned how Elkins had called both of them on Easter Sunday.
{img}During the chat, the family mentioned through tears that he wished to take his own life and that his wife, Shaneiqua Pugh, wanted a divorce. He added that he was drowning in dark thoughts as the sounds of his kids playing were heard in the background.
His father gave him motivational advice and told him to stop drowning in his thoughts and beat all the negativity and battle his demons. But it was just too late.
