Singer D4vd CHARGED With Murder of Celeste Rivas, Death Penalty on the Table

Singer David Burke has officially been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

According to reports from local media outlets, the teen's body was found dismembered inside the singer's Tesla car trunk last year.

The star, who is famous by his stage name D4vd was charged with first-degree murder with special circumstances. The shocking decision was shared by the Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman, who shared the filing of the charges at a news conference that was held today.

Burke was charged with first-degree murder with special circumstances, including lying in wait, murder committed for financial gain, and murdering a witness to an investigation, as per the authorities.

The singer was also charged with lewd and lascivious sexual acts with a minor and the mutilation of a human body.

The authorities confirmed that he engaged in a sexual relationship with the teen and murdered her to maintain his very lucrative musical career, which she posed a threat to as a witness and victim. These charges carry a maximum life sentence without the possibility of parole or the death penalty. The exact punishment is yet to be decided.
