A horror bus crash saw at least 21 people killed and nearly 45 more injured after a bus veered off the road and fell 100 feet.
A passenger bus slid off the Himalayan Highway and rolled down the steep, rocky slope onto a road below in the Indian-controlled side of Kashmir on Monday, as per officials.
{img}The 42-seater bus was carrying more than 60 people from Ramnager town to Udhampur city when it rammed into an auto rickshaw at the sharp curve in the mountainous region, the authorities revealed.
The bus ended up veering off the road and fell about 100 feet onto the road below. The people on the three-wheeler were also injured.
{img}Residents and rescue authorities were seen rushing to the scene of the crash and helping victims reach hospitals while helping those stuck in the wreckage. Investigations are being carried out to determine the exact cause of the crash.
