A pregnant mother of two was found shot inside her vehicle along a highway in Georgia during rush hour.
As per reports from the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to a call regarding the incident at 6:15 pm. It reported that a person was shot along the northbound lanes of I-75 near North Central Avenue SW, near the Atlanta airport.
Police mentioned how the female driver was the victim of an apparent gunshot wound. The woman was later identified by the medical examiner as 34-year-old Bianca Huntley, who was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where she passed away.
The Atlanta police shared how the preliminary investigation indicates that the victim might have gotten her injuries at a separate and currently unknown location.
As per the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office, Huntley passed away from a gunshot wound involving the left arm and torso. The manner of death is ruled a homicide as investigations continue.
