Tragic reports have confirmed the death of legendary actress Nadia Fares.
The Moroccan-born French film star passed away one week after being found in an unconscious state inside a swimming pool in Paris. She was 57.
The star had reportedly been in a coma since the incident, which arose at a private club in the 9th arrondissement on April 11.
Her daughters shared more about how Fares passed away on Friday with a heartbreaking statement on the matter. 'It's with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Nadia Fares this Friday,'- the statement read.
'France has lost a great artist, but for us, it's above all a mother we have just lost'- the post went on to read.
The sisters requested respect and discretion while they were mourning their mother.
