This time around, he appeared more composed while taking a jibe at the pontiff, reminding him that he needs to understand the real world and realize how big a threat Iran is to the world.
The news comes after the US President faced backlash from all over the globe for slamming the Pope, reminding him not to get into politics, and also mentioning that he was weak when it came down to combatting crime.
Many condemned Trump's words and requested that he issue an apology for stating that about the Pope, which he has refused to do so right now.
During a recent interview, Trump mentioned how he has nothing against the Pope, but also stated incorrectly that the Pope favored Iran having nuclear weapons. On that note, he was corrected by the anchor, reminding him that Pope Leo never said any such thing.
