It was a moment of pure horror that unfolded at a Walmart in Nebraska when a 31-year-old woman held a child at knifepoint.
The shocking and very chilling scene ended with one person losing their life, in the end as confirmed by the Omaha police department.

A three-year-old boy seemed to be on an ordinary shopping trip with his guardian on Tuesday at a Walmart in Nebraska. Surveillance footage showed the woman, who was later identified as a 31-year-old, yield a knife from inside the huge store.
The attacker made a number of threats with the knife and refused to put her weapon down, despite so many verbal commands from the officers to put down the knife.
'She refused to drop her weapon and ended up slashing the boy, leaving him with a cut to the face'- the police department revealed. The guardian rushed to retrieve the child from the cart, who was rushed to the hospital and provided first aid.
