Killer FedEx driver Tanner Horner once wrote a shocking and groveling letter to the family of his 7-year-old victim, named Athena Strand.
This is where he apologized for taking away their little angel and blamed his boss for switching up his delivery routes and triggering meltdowns, as per reports.
The twisted 34-year-old penned the note just before he tried to take his own life in 2023, while he was already in jail for the helpless girl, as per a Texas jury.
"I am sorry I took your little angel away from you. She did not deserve this. Y'all did not deserve this," he mentioned. "I pray that my death eases your suffering in some manner,"- the note read.
The letter was among a handful of rambling writings uncovered in Horner's cell after he tried to take his own life while waiting for his trial to begin.
