Kanye West has been accused of punching a man at the Chateau Marmont, which is a storied West Hollywood hotel long associated with Hollywood's elite.
As per a complaint obtained by People, West, who now goes by the name Ye, approached a man at his table in the hotel's garden at about 11 pm on April 16.
Without any kind of warning, West punched him in the face as stated in the complaint, which was filed recently, and it accused West of battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The man alleged that the star punched him so hard that it knocked him down to the ground, where he hit his head and lost consciousness.
As per the complaint, West allegedly kept on assaulting him while he was lying in an unconscious state on the ground.
The man shared how he did nothing to provoke this attack, and in the days after it arose, the rapper falsely accused him of taking part in offensive and inappropriate conduct towards a woman.
