Vice President JD Vance, who converted to Catholicism as an adult, is now advising the Pope to stick to matters of morality and stop interfering in the world of politics.
During a stop on Fox News, Vance was asked about President Trump's recent Truth Social post that slammed the first American pope.

Vance first acknowledged that Pope Leo and Trump would have serious policy disagreements before sharing what he felt was best for the Vatican to do.
"I certainly think that in some cases, it would be best for the Vatican to stick to certain matters, you know what's going on in the Catholic Church, and let the president of the US stick to dictating American public policy"- he shared during his interview.

Vance also hinted at how disagreements between the US president and the Pope could arise in the future.
This happened to be a part of the long rant on Truth Social related to the pontiff, where he dubbed him as weak on crime and a terrible person for foreign policy. Since then, he's also faced backlash from Christians around the globe and refused to apologize.
