President Trump stated in detail how he played absolutely no role in Melania Trump's decision to publicly deny any links to Jeffrey Epstein, as shared by media outlets.
The commander in chief revealed how he knew that his wife planned to speak out, but had no clue what she was going to say. In a brief telephone interview with the New York Times, Donald downplayed the fallout from his wife's remarks.

"It does not bother me," Donald mentioned, referring to the statement she delivered from the White House a day earlier.
"I did not know what this statement was,"- he added, 'but I knew she was going to make a statement,"- he mentioned.

The remarks come after the first lady rolled out a statement addressing long-running speculations about her alleged connection to Jeffrey. "The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,"- Melania Trump mentioned. "I don't object to their ignorance, but rather, I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation. I have never been friends with Epstein," she added. She also made it clear that she had never had any kind of relationship with Epstein or his accomplice.
