Texas Mom Allegedly Forced Son, 3, in a Wheelchair and Utilized Unnecessary Feeding Tube

A Texas mother is facing multiple charges after she subjected her 3-year-old son to medical abuse.

Kaitlyn Laura was arrested on March 19 for having accusations of medical child abuse that gave rise to serious bodily injury to a child, the TCSO mentioned in a statement shared by the press.

She was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on one charge of injury to a child, which was a first-degree felony under Texas state law. Furthermore, Laura faces another charge linked to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as shared by the cops.

Laura was released from jail on a $75,000 bond on March 29. The woman claimed her son was suffering from cerebral palsy and was not able to walk. She forced him to make use of a feeding tube for no reason and a wheelchair, as per local media outlets.

As per the arrest affidavit that was attained by the Dallas Morning News, Laura spoke about how her son suffered from serious eating problems. She kept on visiting a specialist and mentioned how her son's condition kept deteriorating when that was not the case. She forced him to undergo unnecessary treatments and surgeries as per the report outlined.
