A Texas mother is facing multiple charges after she subjected her 3-year-old son to medical abuse.
Kaitlyn Laura was arrested on March 19 for having accusations of medical child abuse that gave rise to serious bodily injury to a child, the TCSO mentioned in a statement shared by the press.
{img}She was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on one charge of injury to a child, which was a first-degree felony under Texas state law. Furthermore, Laura faces another charge linked to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as shared by the cops.
Laura was released from jail on a $75,000 bond on March 29. The woman claimed her son was suffering from cerebral palsy and was not able to walk. She forced him to make use of a feeding tube for no reason and a wheelchair, as per local media outlets.
{img}As per the arrest affidavit that was attained by the Dallas Morning News, Laura spoke about how her son suffered from serious eating problems. She kept on visiting a specialist and mentioned how her son's condition kept deteriorating when that was not the case. She forced him to undergo unnecessary treatments and surgeries as per the report outlined.
