"38 years ago today, Renee blessed our lives with love, beauty, and light. Renee, full of promise, was taken from us much too soon, which is a day that has changed our family's lives forever,"- the message read.

The family says they are so grateful to have spent 37 long and beautiful years with her because her love and warmth were like no other.
